Running temp
and that was cruzing on the highway.. What should I do here? I already changed the coolant temp sensor on the driver side of the engine and the thermostat. When your t-stat opens up at 160* your hot coolant that is entering the radiator to start cooling doesn't have a chance to cool before the coolant in the head/engine gets to 160* again and opens the t-stat again. Because the stock fan settings come one beyong 210*. So you get into a cycle that you can't win...unless your steadily cruising on the highway, then the lower air dam is plenty to cool that radiator coolant. City driving..you're screwed.
Get them tuned to come on at about 185*-190*. I think thats what my are tuned for and my engine stays friggin cool as hell, well cooler than hell
