Ok all of a sudden when im on the highway and go i pass 70 mph my car starts shaking ( mainly from the front left and right side of the car) and when i go faster it gets worst and my steering wheel starts to shake also, i feel like my car is going to break apart and make me crash. this started a week ago, and now im geting fed up with it. i use to go past 70, **** all the way to the max with no problem now i get this awful sensation all over my car shaking the hell out of it plus the steering wheel. i also hear alot of metal rattling to once i go over 70 mph. when im under 70 it runs fine but as soon as i hit 70 all hell breaks loose, please help. i have a 2002 ss camaro

ah! thats funny cause about a week ago i had the mechanic check me suspension to see if it was ok (6 month check up) and he did mention about a tie rode being bent on the driver side, but he did not tell me it was a major problem, but man it is, i hate that i can go pass 70 with out feeling about to crash.

If you do one side, might as well do the other. If one side has gotten that bad, then the other isn't going to be like brand new.
EDIT: Also, are you 100% sure that's the problem, or at least part of it? Throwing parts at a problem can get expensive and frustrating, just ask me how I know

tie rods? ehh maybe.... i'd replace those anyways, if one is bent for sure. but check wheel balance on the front wheels, as well as wheels bearings on each side. Also, check your tires, visually you will see a separated belt, but anything else in the tire you might not notice...
