High revs at start Just added a BBK SSI intake, SLP cai, SLP lid, and SLP smooth bellows to my 2000 WS6. Went and started the car and now it automatically revs to about 4,000 rpms then dies. If I try to keep it running by feathering the accelerator it will rev back up to about 3,000 rpms and starts to pop (backfire). Also I noticed my oil pressure guage is pegged above 80 psi but thats even with the engine stopped and ignition on. I was really careful when removing the old intake and installing the new one not to bang anything up against it. But it is a tight fit getting behind there. Any suggestions on the revving would be greatly appreciated.
