Question Low coolant

Checked my coolant today and all I saw was what looked like metal coils. How do I know if it's low or not? And what do I do if it is low??thanx.

If you can see the coils in the radiator then yes it's low. You can top it off with some water depending how low it is. If it's really low than you might need to do 50/50 mix of dexcool and water. Go ahead and fill the expansion tank up to the line on the tank.

You don't have to run a 50/50 mix. Especially living in Texas. Regardless, like the man said, if you can see the "coils" then fill it up.
