hey guys, ever since i bought my 02 ss camaro i have a problem with the gas guage. my guage doenst read most the time it shows i'm at like dead E even if i have like 3/4. Then i'll be driving and randomly i'll notice that it the guage will shoot up and show me how much gas i have but only stays for a little while then it drops again to the Empty. So i was wondering what could be wrong and how i could fix it or whats involved and how much its going to cost me to take it to a mechanic. From my knowledge i think it would be the fuel sending unit and if i believe correctly thats in the gas tank so you'd have to drop the whole tank and thats a pretty expensive fix, so guys fill me in what could be wrong and how i should go about doing this. thank you alot - cory d!
