Default O2 sensor problem

A couple months ago I found out my bank 1 O2 sensor wasn't working so I decided to buy 1 Bosch 13111 O2. I put it in and today I found out its still not working. What could be causing this? When I installed the new one I inspected the wires and they seemed fine. I also found out I'm throwing a clutch code P0704. I have bolt ons, LT's, LS7 clutch with a Tick master.

Don't know if your PCM acts the same as mine does....but my engine/PCM WILL NOT run with Bosch 02 sensors.

Put it Bosch 02's once before....engine will not run at all.

Pull those out and screw in GM AC Delcos, start it up.....runs perfect.

All PCM's are not the same......

Please define what "My new O2 sensor isn't working" means. Is it switching lazy, no reading at all, or it's reading but not fueling your car right? If it isn't switching it may be the O2 itself not getting enough heat (changing brands could help), if there is no power/reading at all you may have a short in your wires (need to get a voltmeter and check the wires), if your car isn't fueling right then you may need to look into the other sensors first.

Your O2 sensors may not be getting hot enough. It happens with LTs. I've heard of trying other brands or changing the resistance of the heater circuit.

Your clutch switch may be stuck closed, that's why your cruise won't work. Can you start the car without pushing in the clutch? (Make sure you're in neutral before trying)

Well I installed the Bosch O2 sensor on my driver side recently and me and my friend used one of those devices to rear your computer and the new O2 I put in stayed at 465 or around there while my other one bounced around at 890's or so.

No, I can't start the car without the clutch being pushed in. I did notice that the clutch pedal on both sides pushed a button/switch when engaged and not engaged. Which button/switch is it?

When it comes to O2 sensors you should really use OE equipment. O2 sensors are very precise senors that are calibrated and tested from the factory for specific cars.

i was getting p0131 and p0151 codes for the longest time and it bugged the hell out of me... i opened up the connector at the passenger side strut tower where the o2 wires go and there was some corrosion on the pins/contacts and some of the contacts had a significant space inbetween them... i sprayed electrical contact cleaner on everything and tightened the contacts up with a needle and my codes went away and the car runs a ton better... not saying this is definitely your problem but you might want to check it out

BUMP! By the way when I first did LT's I found out that my passenger side extension burned on the header and I was wondering if that could've caused the problem.

Of course.

Still having a rain issue with mine. I will be redoing the main 02 sensor harness here soon if I cannot find the issue

If that's the case then why would my passenger side still work? I might have to end up doing changing the main harness too. Where's the cheapest place to buy the harness? I hope it isn't a pain to change this.

Pins inside a connector do not all corrode at once, your driver's side went out first. You can buy new wire terminals at an auto parts store.

I do not believe you can buy gm weatherpak stuff at an auto parts store. I do not believe there is any harness you can buy either that plugs right in.

Harness, no. But the terminals and weather seals are available if you want to do the repair yourself.

Got a linky? I have never seen gm weatherpack stuff at any autoparts store. Honestly. 99.999 percent of the time they will say it is a dealer item only, even if you ask for it by part number and KNOW they have it.
