Default a.c. line removal

i have to replace my main a.c. line, it travels from compressor to dehydrator to condenser.
i removed the bolts that hold it in place, but proving difficult to remove it from the behind the compressor to snake it out. what are you guys doing to remove this a.c. line?

Cut that sucker up with a razor knife to make it easier to get out. Also, cut the metal lines with hand cutters.

Just curious....where's the leak?

Short of removing the ac compressor which isn't that hard, you can hack it up.

Mine got a little pinhole leak like 6 months ago in the rubber, but it was so close to the factory crimp in the metal line...I was able to cut an inch out of the rubber to get rid of the pinhole, then I reclamped it onto the metal line. Been holding great since.

I thought about hacking it up, but if I cut it out I'll still have to figure out how to install the new one.
I guess the compressor needs to come out as it's what's hold me back from getting the line out.
The problem I remember a friend who tried replacing his compressor and he was unable to get it out without extensive work to make space so the compressor could be removed.

the compressor wasn't that hard to remove once you have that line disconnected.

I'd just pull it out, from the bottom.
