engine sputtering
Last night my engine began sputtering when I was accelerating from low rpms and in a high gear (i.e. 20 mph/4th 30 mph/5th, 50 mph/6th). This started after buying gas, driving about 7 miles and parking the car. When I started driving again the sputtering started. I first noticed it while in 6th gear. It only does it at low rpm. I have parked the car put it in neutral and played with the throttle under the hood and there were no problems. I can take off in any gear where I am already making power and there is no problem (0-100 @ WOT). Not sure what is going on and any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Drew

You're gonna have to run that tank out if you think it might be suspect. Run it down to "E", then fill it up all the way and see if that fixes it. If not, then start looking elsewhere.
Might have a poorly sealing gas cap. But that should give you an SES light and a code.

Sounds like you have an issue whenever the engine is under load.
When was the last time you changed plugs?? What you describe is a symptom of a misfire. Could definitely be ignition related, I'd pull the plugs and check their condition and gap.
