Default replacing driver's side mirror...

ok well i am replacing the d.s. mirror and have hit an obstacle. The wires that run from the mirror motor down in to the door does not have enough slack in it to let me get to the clip... Do I need to take off the door panel? has anybody done this with some help???

You shouldn't need to. When I replaced mine, it took a minute, but you just have to wriggle the plug out, it shouldn't be in there too bad. Just take your time with a pen screwdriver and pry it out if all else fails
