i had the same issue... every time i started the car, all i heard was a "click" sound. pulled the starter off, and it had a big *** piece broken off. replaced it with a new one and the same thing, just a click. 2 days later they started it up at the dealership and it locked up again, dropped the oil pan and found metal shavings.... now my new ls1 has like 4k miles on it, lol. hope yours isnt that serious..
