Cold idle problem on a mazda tribute v6
Cold idle problem on a mazda tribute v6 I have a general question about my moms mazda tribute. When she starts in cold weather it doesn't want to idle. It's real choppy sounding. Once it gets warmed up it runs fine. Does anybody have any idea what could be causing this? I'm thinking one of the sensors. Thanks in advance for the help.

On my 98 Z28 the IAC was being blocked by the throttle body gasket and it did the same thing on cold start, had to give it gas to keep it running till warm.
An IAC for the mazda tribute should look something like this, it could just be dirty so it's not opening like it should.

IAT sensor maybe or IAC (idle air control).
