Thanks 02form, ive got a good pressure regulator on the way so when i replace that and my problem doesnt go away then the only thing left is the pump right?

I had this exact problem, pressure dropped off after pump stopped priming, would be down to about 10 psi within seconds. Replaced the pump and now everything is fine.
