Safe to leave Seafoam in Oil?
I would like to Seafoam my engine soon, however, I want to get the best clean possible before changing the oil. But I don't drive much more than 20-30 miles a week... Can I leave this stuff in the engine for a few weeks without it causing any damage?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I wouldnt put Seafoam in my oil. I dont like the thought of putting alcohol and kerosene in my engine oil. But if you must I wouldnt drive far with it. I honestly think it does more harm than good.
Why not use a synthetic oil with a lot of cleaning ability? Like Mobil 1 High Mileage? Or even Pennzoil Platinum?

when i seafoam my cars, i put it in.
add it to the oil
let the car warm up at idle
put the seafoam trough the intake
let it sit
start it until the smoke goes away for the most part
kill it and change the oil
thats how i have done it with every car ive owned and never had a problem.
