So, what is exactly the problem? What does the 3rd brake light do? What to the blinkers do? Do the front blinkers work OK? Do the front marker lights work OK, also?

sounds like the parking lights are working but the brake lights don't come on when the pedal is pressed... i'd check the bulbs to make sure they are the right ones... i have seen people jam singe element bulbs in the taillights and wonder why the brake lights don't work

Thanks for the info guys but problem solved... fuse kept popping cause one of the wires was shorting out causing the fuse to go bad.
