Default rear main seal

any idea how to get it out i have the engine one a stand and try to get it out but its fused to the crank do i heat it up any ideas?

I've always just used a flat head screw driver and worked my way around and it always comes out

i tried that it just tears it up i feel like a razor would do the trick

I don't think a razor would work. Make sure you get the blade of the screw driver as far back on the seal as you can the part on the outside is just rubber and will tear but further in there is metal and it'll pry out
