Default Floor board vibration

My current mileage is right around 98k I didnt most of my mods in my sig around 60k, tranny and stall was put in at 80k and new rearend w gears was just put in 300 miles ago.

I replaced a worn out tranny mount around 8k miles ago and im pretty sure my motor mounts are due to be replaced. Well Im out today (first nice day of spring) and I gave it a good launch from about 10 mph....well needless to say My tranny hit pretty hard and now Im getting floor board vibration in 1st and 2nd when im accelerating. She seems to shift ok and not much vibration at normal cruise speed.

Does this sound like motor mounts? and tranny mount needing replaced??

Thats probably the first thing I would look. The tranny mount may have loosened up after the replacement. Also check the driveshaft for lost weights or bad U-joints...could have happened during rear end or tranny replacement.

Did you take it back where you got it? It shouldn't have gone bad that fast.

I did it myself w a friend. Was a autozone piece. Only a 15-20 part so no biggie. Just glad to have her back on the road.
