I had "safe-lite" come to my work and put in new glass + weather stripping, with a lifetime warranty for workmanship. Total cost after taxes: $309.00

I believe safelite quotes around 275ish in my area..

yeah i waited, i had the windshield replaced again because the 1st one a pilkington was so badly distorted. Now the new one a PGW has issues too, lights looks fuzzy at night and signs look double. Starting to **** me off.

Distorted glass is common in aftermarket. You have to get lucky to get a good one.

I have a chip in the passenger side, but I'm leaving it for this reason.
