well my passenger seat wont slid up when the bar under the seat is pulled, i cant get a good look under the seat to see if something is broke or if the seat is just stuck. i was wondering if anyone else have had this problem and how it can be fixed.

Do you have access to the bolts to take the seat out? Cause if you can get the seat out you can get a better look at whats wrong

Should be a easy fix if you can get the seat out

i am having the same issue. the metal cable/spring broke. the seat is to the dash and i cant move it back to get the fron nuts from the brackets that the seat is attached to. i have tried to use a screwdriver to pry the latch in the direction it is supposed to be pulled with the handle but it seems to be stuck. i will try a pry bar tonight.
