Default car wont start, no fuel pressure please help

Last night i went to start the car and all it does is crank and crank but will not fire up.

There is 0 fuel pressure at the rail with the key on. I have check the fuel pump fuses and relays. Is there a way i can test the pump? or test the fuel pressure regulator? im out of ideas, also how do i check for spark?

Normally you will have no problem hearing it. That is if it is a stock pump. I still have stock for now and I can hear it turn on and off.

I have never had to do that before. how come you can not just hook up the battery and turn the key?
