Default Clunk under the car

Ok so i was taking my car out today and there is this clunk coming from the front end. Every time i go over bumps or brake. Some times it happens when i turn. I looked under the car and u joints are fine and the torque arm bushing is fine. Tranny and motor mounts are all in good shape. Im leaking power steering fluid really bad somewhere but cant pinpoint it. Im thinking it could be the power steering rack and pinion what do you guys think?

Either control arm bushings or possibly sway bar bushings, either frame or end link.

Possibly a tie rod end. . . . Just take a close look at your front end suspension parts. . . . .

its the rack and pinion took my car to a shop for a waterpump tech says its the rack and pinion same symptoms as OP.

Why are some R & Ps on ebay super cheap and some super expensive? Are all 98-02 R &Ps interchangable?

sounds like a busted strut mount. another symptom of this will be slight inside tire wear. the easiest way to check is to jack up on side of the car, and look at the top of the strut, if it is broken you will see a lump of rubber in the top of the strut literally seperate from the rest of the mount

i have noticed that when the sway bar end links need to be replaced, they make a clunking sound. now you could have other problems, along with these like shocks or struts, ball joints. just take a real good look at your suspension.
