Took it to AutoZone today and this is the code I got

pretty sure it's my oil leaking cuz it does smoke out of the pipes a little. What needs to be done???

You dont necessarily need a new cat. I recently had the same code come up on my 98 Camaro SS, I just fixed it today. It needed new plugs, and wires. All plugs on the drivers side were toast, and a couple on the passenger side ! It's worth checking out !

if it is your cats, gm extended the warranty on the cats to 120k. i got mine done for free. just make sure thats what it is or you'll pay a diagnostic fee. with mine the code read "catalyst below threshold"

The extended GM cat warranty also has a time limit. The letter I got back in '06 says "within 10 years of the date your vehicle was originally placed into service or 120K miles, whichever occurs first....."
