Default DD, TH400 cars

Are any of your motors running hotter than if when were a 6 spd/a4 car. typically when im driving for more than 30-45 mins on the highway 50-60 mph @3K+ rpm the car will get as hot as 235-240, wont go above. and of course when i stop it goes down between 210-220.

this is also with my fans on (manual fan switch), new coolant/water wetter and a 160* stat. pressure tested the system, no problems. also cleaned the coils. car also does NOT have AC or condensor. Trans cooler has a fan as well.

i cant think of anything else to do to keep it cooler. dont want to go the route of getting a big radiator (just cant afford it right now). but im open to suggestions

maybe try wrapping your headers? I can't really think of anything else besides an extra fan or a bigger radiator.

ya i dont know how many options you have aside from stepping down from 4.11's or a bigger radiator...would an oil cooler lower temps at all?

im pretty sure an oil cooler would lower it some, im not sure how much though. i do have a B&M cooler laying around, i guess ill have to do some reading and look into it.
