Turn on the ignition and hold down the tripometer reset for like 20 seconds. I think the light will flash but I don't remember exactly. Something like that anyway.

I have the same thing, I'm guessing you have to plug into the PCM to reset it, the car wouldn't know the oil has been changed otherwise. The guy who serviced mine forgot to do it, and he's the only guy in London who does F-bodies that i know, and he's 2 hours away, so annoying!

supposedly there are 2 ways, but ive only used one.
Turn the ignition key to accessory, do not start the car. press and hold the trip reset button on the instrument cluster for 10-20 seconds. just when you think its not working, the change oil light will flash, then turn off. your oil light is reset and counting towards your next oil change. no plugging into any pcm or messing with anything but the trip reset button.
the other way has to do with pressing the gas pedal 10 times with the key in the accessory position, but ive never tried it.

The owner's manual for my 2001 Z28 says to turn the ignition key to 'run' with the engine off and then hold in the trip/oil reset button for 12 seconds, at which point the oil change light should flash to confirm it has been reset. I've done that a couple of times now and it's worked fine.
