I hear this sound right after a wot or near wot run. It only occurs immediately after I let off, and last for about 1 second. I always assumed it was the injectors or something since it doesn't do it under load, but rather right when I let the peddle back up. I just want to make sure that it isn't anything I should be concerned about - ie: detonation? Like I said, it only lasts for about 1 second or less and it just sounds like a quick tapping sound from up high in the engine bay (it sounds up high) after wot, and then goes back to normal with no tapping afterwards at all. Thanks for any ideas or suggestions. Car runs strong otherwise and oil pressure is great. It has a small amount of piston slap upon startup but goes away after hitting operating temp. Could this be my injectors adjusting or something?
