Hey, bud.
I had a problem like this and it was my my crank bolt...backed off on the u/d pulley. So, pay attention to your voltage gauge also. If the volts are down lower than normal (less than mid way on the gauge). Consider it... if the tensioner checks out...

My volts have always been a little high. Like i said my tensioner was throwing belts so i replaced it with a set adjustable one (no spring) and its works great. Was considering replacing alt/crank pulleys with UD ones. But i know the noise is coming from the AC set of pulleys so......

I just replaced my pulleys with the Dayco metal ones on my GTO, looked the same as the ones on my WS6, $18.xx and change free shipping on amazon.
