Default PCV lines broken, any effect?

Just wondering what broken PCV line would cause, I know the 98 has the worst PCV system of any of the years, but I was swapping my intake today and found that it was broken into about 5 different pieces. I replaced it with parts from my 99's PCV lines that I still had in a box. What would that have caused the car to do? It never seemed like anything was wrong, thats why I'm curious if I would notice it or not.

No big deal at all, it won;'t effect the engine in a bad way. It just means the crankcase gases are not getting evacuated normally. My 427ci has been running around for the past 4 months or so with no PCV system at all, just a breather on the valve covers. Its perfectly fine, and the oil is exactly the same as it always is when I change it, clean with no moisture.

Yeah my 99's was vented on both sides, never had a problem, but this one the drivers side wasn't really vented at all so I was wondering if it would cause anything negative. Oh well, its fixed now.

it should be able to breath, if not, your are very prone to oil leaks. to much pressure inside the motor will start blowing out oil pan gaskets ect. most leaks are slow, and 95% if cars in the road leak SOMETHING. breathers seem to work, but im ****, I my motor is super clean and super dry. not a seap or drop of anything with 104,XXX miles.
