Default Car Won't Start. Please Help Me!

This may be long but here it goes. One day i hopped in my car and tried to start it up. Everything went normal (all the lights in the gauges lit up) and went to crank it and it made a loud click noise and the lights in the dash went out and car didnt start. when i kept trying to start it none of the lights came on. radio was out completely and all the electrical did not work. Nothing would happen except after a couple of seconds the needs would jump up and fall back down.

I would hear a clicking noise coming from behind the dash and the stock amplifier. the alarm light was flashing really rapid while the alarm signal that the key was in the ignition while the door is open was beeping. disconnected the amp and still a clicking sound.

then the car started all of a sudden. turned it on and off a couple times and it would want to die so i gave it gas. tried to start it again and it wouldnt start anymore.

NOW the gauge lights dont even light up or move at all anymore. All other electrical still works. I dont really have a clue as to what this may be caused by. the alarm system maybe?? its the stock alarm. i dunno.

Anyone have any ideas? what should i do? Thanks in advance!

Replace your gauge fuse in your fuse panel inside the car.

get a wire brush and clean your battery terminals and cable connections. I had a similar problem. Make sure the cables are tight (dirty or loose connections will not allow enough amperage through to start the car although you will still see 12vdc on a meter) You could have flooded it also...try starting the car with the gas pedal to the floor. This will allow it to "start" but with the pedal to the floor no fuel will be added from the injectors.
