spark plugs for n/a and gap ?
Gap them to .050, thats the best gap you can have on a N/A LS1, from stock up to 650 RWHP.
Also, NGK are probably the best plugs you can use....TR55 or TR5, same identical plugs, Use whiche3ver ones you can find. The TR55's are becoming hard to find. But it doesn't matter, they are 100% identical.

The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
And I'm not one of those people that believe any plug should go more than 40,000 miles. They start decreasing in performance the day you put them in and start driving. 30,000-40,000 miles later they are tired. I like to have fresh plugs in there every 30,000-40,000 miles, regardless of which brand, model or type it is.
Its too cheap not to have peak performance MOST of the time you drive the car.

i went with NGK TR5 iridiums but im pretty brand loyal so i dont have any experience with other plugs
I've tried the iridiums once and I had to buy Bosch plugs once because I couldn't find NGK anywhere in town once and I already pulled the plugs out so I needed something. The Bosch were complete crap, at least in my engine, big noticeable difference. My engine also will not even run with Bosch 02 sensors, so maybe my engine just hates Bosch stuff. I pulled the Bosch out the next day and put in AC Delco plugs, seemed normal. But about a month later I found some TR55's and put them in.
So its just 12 years of experience with them and hundreds of other people who use them who post about plugs.
