Default Aftermarket window/motor assembly

I thought I had a seen an aftermarket solution to the dreaded electric window issues but after spending ages searching I haven't able to find anything.
I'm not referring to the wiring mod, but to a complete regulator/motor assembly that replaces the factory stuff. I'm sure I saw it somewhere on LS1tech but can't find it anywhere.
Can anyone help?

Thanks - I had found that one but I thought I had seen something else too.
Do you have any experience with the electric-life product?

Yea, I've had it in for almost three years now with no problems. Still moving fast at 100%. They have lasted me longer than the originals did from the factory.

Its an expensive way to go. If I had it to do all over again, I'd probably go with the new Doorman motors. (I put my EL units in just as Doorman was coming out with the new design.)

Thanks again for the reply. Did you just fit the EL kit or did you do the wiring kit mod too?

I think the wiring mod is a bunch of BS. (No, I didn't do it.)

The kit will eliminate resistance from the circuit, which means more power to the motor. But that's not the problem and it doesn't solve the real issue that the motors are vintage 1970's and are junk.

I think I am going to go with the EL kit. I'm tired of replacing motors almost yearly. I'll be sure to post my findings and experience once done.

You can get new ones (Doorman) on rockauto.com for $23 with a life time warranty. Bought and installed one 6 weeks ago on the passenger side. It finally died after 11 years and 235,000 + miles. Nothing to it. I did the drivers side about 3 or 4 years ago. Once you do one you can do the next one in 30 minutes.
