~~ No Dash Lights! ~~
They said it was the headlight switch. They said that is all they had to replace and it worked good since then.

Wish mine was that easy. Were you blowing any fuses? My brake light works fine...
Is yours that UV10 Jensen model? Looking at the diagrams, I cant see anything in the radio circuit that would short out the fuses on the light circuit. Are you loosing fuses too?

I had to add the wire due to the flickering headlight issue.

I found out another thing that is shorted or part of the same circuit:
I had the heater on on the way to the store. When I got back in and turned on the car I didnt realize that the blower wasnt working. I hit a reflector (center road reflector) and it popped on! So something is loose and shorted...
For some reason my wires to the blower are spliced. And they were not covered.
Looks like it was just a couple of strands touching just enough to short out the lights but not totally kill the blower. I have a purple and black wire going to the red and black wires of the blower, wtf?

Thanks,
Not saying thats going to be somebodies problem, but it does show that there are many circuits that can mess up the lights.
