My car is idling really low when i come to a complete stop at a traffic light or anywhere when the car is still in drive. I have been researching and have seen that this symptom could be the IAC Valve is dirty or needs replaced. I want to try and clean my MAF, and TB aswell and clean the IAC valve to see if it will eliminate the idle issue i am having. How do i do this without ******* something up? I heard there is a spring in there and you gotta be careful...i ran into some threads on here with people asking similar Q's but it is no help to me and the threads are out-dated. I would appreciate help. Thanks

Pull the connector, remove the 2 screws, and it's out. Just don't turn the key on if the IAC is out of it's hole and the connector is still attached. Then the plunger and spring will go flying.
After you have it out, clean the plunger head with intake cleaner. Put some cleaner on a rag and stick the rag in the hole with your finger to clean it out.
