motor hesitating after shifting, please help
Im at a lose with my car on this one. Car started to hesitate after a shift only for a couple seconds then picks back up. Change plugs cause they looked a lil bad but still does it and not showing any codes. Checked wires and all electrical connections and cant find and thing yet.

You said it does it only at WOT, correct? If that's the case, your MAF sensor may be dirty or it may have failed. I would get a can of MAF cleaner from your local auto parts store and spray that stuff on the sensor wires. Don't touch the small resistor wires though! Then let it dry, and put it back in. When you start it, it may take a minute or so to re-learn its idle and it may run rough.
Are you throwing any codes?
If it still keeps up, try replacing the MAF sensor. The MAF sensor is used by the computer to determine the correct A/F ratio when the engine is cold as well as at WOT when it's warm.
I had a similar issue this past weekend, and it turns out my MAF sensor was dirty and there was some debris in between the sensor and the throttle butterfly. I vacuumed out the debris and cleaned the sensor and it fixed the hesitation issue I was having and fixed the 2 codes I was throwing
By the way, has your car been tuned for the trans and stall? If it hasn't been tuned for the stall it can cause problems, but usually not like that. Just throwing it out there!

Thanks for the info arkman96. I never even thought about the maf sensor. I hate all the computer stuff with newer motors haha. Yes the car has been tuned for all the work by New era performance.

Yeah, I think all this computer stuff is a double-edged sword. Yeah, it can throw codes, but not everything will set a code unless it completely fails. Even if it throws codes, they can only tell you so much. I miss the days when cars were actually easier to work on, even though I wasn't even alive then!
