Head light screw problem

Default Head light screw problem

as alot of you know to change the turn signal bulb you need to remove the 1 and only 10 mm screw holding the headlight in ok so that went smoothly replaced the bulb....ok time to screw it back it it goes in some of the way now there is what looks like a small metal washer on the plastic peice of the headlight that keeps spinning and I can not for the life of me get it tightened down....any suggestions Thanks in advance!

Next time - there's an access door under the bumper for changing the bulbe. Takes 30 seconds.

Yep That is correct....not sure how to make it stop maybe apply pressure some how but thats just it Im not sure how....And I agree next time Im going though the bottom! Btw thanks in advance again! Please Help!

i had the same problem, i used an air ratchet to take it back out. if you did what i did it wasn't in the hole straight (cross threaded). i cleaned the threads up and reinstalled the bolt while applying pressure to the nut.

I was thinking maybe a small screw driver on the backside.....hell maybe even a dab of superglue would hold it.

I tried the screw driver with the hand ratchet it dosent hold....maybe super glue? Im not so sure I dont really wanna rip the plastic up but I might hafta....damn this is a pain Im gonna need to bring it down to my freinds and use his air tools
