Yes 100%!!! check everything fuel related. from fuses relays, lines pump injectors.
Maybed a clogged fuel filter.

Well, like you said the car is turning over strong and even running for a few seconds.. Then it's not spark- it's fuel..

I would start by checking lines and wire harnesses.. mine was pinched in the harness.. and the car wouldn't do anything..

Do you have a test light to see if the injectors are firing? Are they clicking when you crank it over? Is there any visible damage underneath the car at all? Does the FP keep up when you try and start it?

there is a schrader valve on your fuel rail you need to hook up a gauge to it to see if your getting the right pressure or prime the fuel pump and see if fuel sprays out of it I am not talking about a little whif of air I mean a good amount of fuel should spray. If that checks good (you have fuel) check all your spark plug wires and coil packs depending on how badly you bottemed out something could have came loose. From what you previously said I would look more into the fuel syste something came loose or got pinched.

Shot in the dark but does your security light flash for a few seconds when you turn it on before it dies?

the check engine light came on and it threw a code for the skipshift sensor. i think it was 0803. now my guages are resetting themselves when i start the car. the security .light doesnt flash, but what would i do if it was? maybe it has to do with the vats? i am willing to try anything at this point. fuel pressure is at 50psi and it shoots
out, not trickles.

The guages resetting has always been known to be the battery. You got a weird one going.

But it was starting up and everything before. I dont really think it would be the battery. The problem seems like a fuel related problem, but i have 55 psi coming out of my rails and the fuel pump can be heard. Could it have something to do with my VATS?

I'm not going to pretend to be an expert or anything, but your issue sounds a lot like the issue I had before I repaired some wiring.

Try a different battery, swap one from your brother/mom/dad/friend and see what that does.

lol i dont see how going at an angle would help much.. a 5inch high speed bump is a 5inch high speed bump if you dont got at least 5in to spare its guna hit/scrape

but man i hope u get this figured out my place has some pretty massive speed bumps i hit every time...luckily i found the plastic ones, when i take it to fast i find yellow plastic hanging from my stupid v-band exhaust clamp that sticks out 1/2-3/4 of an inch

Ok, so the nightmare continues...

i took the car to a shop called doctor of motors in chico, on thursday morning for a free inspection and diagnostic. the guy looked at the car, started it, then said they would dig deeper into the car and try to figure it out, but it would be 150, so i said ok. i dont hear anything from them till friday at around 5, then they started to tell me that it was my smoothe bellows that i have on. the tech said that it was letting air in, which is a bunch of BS, because it ran fine before that. they said the MAF wasnt getting any voltage. they arent open on the weekends, which means i have to wait till monday for them to even 'fix' that.

what do you guys think?
