2002 T/A throwing bad 02 codes, among other things...
The CEL has been going on and off like crazy for months, every few days it would go out then a few days later it's back. i bought a pocket OBD-II reader, here's what it displays:
P0157
P1153
P0157 pd
MIL ON
MONITORS
2 INC
EVAP
02 HTR
6 READY
MISFIRE
FUEL
COMP
CATLYST
SEC AIR
O2 SNSR
So, I looked up the top 2 trouble codes and found them to be this:
DTC P0157 HO2S Circuit Low Voltage Bank 2 Sensor 2 - (Rear Passenger Side)
DTC P1153 HO2S Insufficient Switching Bank 2 Sensor 1 - (Front Passenger Side)
The locations I wrote after are just so you all can confirm, i've seen several debates about the locations on here and those are the ones it looked like everyone agreed on.
so, i replaced both the left and right downstream 02's with brand new acdelco ones a week ago (i got bad advice from a friend about the codes before i bought my own reader and looked them up myself)
so it looks like my passenger side is all kinds of screwed up. i have long tube headers with cats on each side, i'm sure that's important to note.
sooo.... what should i do?
