Coolant Gurgling Sound
I have a 02 Firebird LS1 and recently Ive noticed after driving the car there is a gurgling sound coming from the radiator and the sound of pressure being released at the radiator cap. Im wondering what is causing this?
I recently had the power steering pump replaced and my car has the factory ps pump cooler in the radiator. Do you have to drain the radiator to replace th ps pump?

Other than that....as "flleetmgr" said.......sounds like you simply need a new cap. I've been using the Stant cap for the past 4 years with the pressure relief lever on it...$3.00 at PepBoys.
If that doesn't work....you very well may have a blown head gasket or some other pinhole leak somewhere thats letting air in after the engine is turned off and cools.

I too have this problem.. The weird thing is that I changed my ps pump too..
But it's only when I run the A/C, I will hear that gurgling sound AND THEN it will boil out of the top of the overflow tank..
I changed radiator cap, thermostat, checked to see if the fans were both operable..
And still nothing..
(just to maybe help eliminate some troubleshooting)
