Default Clunk when turning in reverse

When I'm turning in reverse I hear a clunking noise under the car. It's only when backing up and only when turning. When I back out of a parking space I hear the noise just before I'm ready to turn the wheel to shift into drive.

Edit: also wanted to note it doesn't matter if I'm turning right or left. Anything I could find searching didn't fit my situation exactly.

Your U joint is bad, get under the car and rotate the DS with hand, see how the clunk u talk about is their.

check your LCA too.
