Belt falling off in rain
I have a 2001 3.8L Camaro. My belt keeps falling off in the rain. The belt is only about a year old but looks like it might have a little bit of oil on it. I checked my tension pulley but it looks ok to me, its an 01 so it is 9 years old and never been replaced with 115k miles. I checked the rest of my pulleys and they seem to be fine, I replaced my AC compressor about a year ago but im pretty sure I bolted it up just fine... any suggestions? Thanks!

I checked the pulleys with the belt off and they all seemed fine, checked them with the belt on and the tensionsr was wobbling all over the place, replaced that and got a new belt... Guess I'll have to wait till next time it rains to see if it solved my problem. I'm sure it did though.

What's going to make the tensioner jump and throw the belt,
is engine bucking / misfiring. That's where rain comes in. I'd
start with checking plug wires, and use dielectric grease at
both ends (you could also rub down the whole wire with the
di-grease, maybe seal up some pinholes).
There may be other wet-sensitive areas (like O2 sensors,
etc.) too.
