Question DRL/Blinker bulb - Is it 3157 or 3457?????????????

I'm under my car right now needing to replace my driver side front blinker/DRL. I went to autozone and picked up a pair of 3157 bulbs as per my memory I thought that was the correct one. However, just now pulling out the old bulb I found it had a 3457 in it?

So I'm confused

From searching other threads it seems people are using 3157? But if that's the case, does that mean I've been running the wrong bulb in there for a couple years with no ill effects?

go to pepboys, autozone, wherever and look at the book they have hanging by the bulbs lol

If both work fine.....I'd just use it

Tried that Greg... for some odd reason their electronic lookup thing didn't list it. The associate couldn't find it either. So I had to go from memory. Which is probably my first mistake...

Both will work if you use in conjunction with correct amount of blinker fluid.

My original owners manual says 3157 NAK.
I've been using 3157 NA (I guess it's the same thing).

Just give it up. Sell it before you have to change the oil. Then you'd be really screwed.

Either bulb will work fine. The 3457 is brighter than the 3157.

I always buy the N/A bulbs, they seem to last longer & have a deeper amber color when illuminated. I believe they are the 3157's as well.
