Default Speedometer help!!!

My speedometer is off by 10 miles an hour when I go 50 it says 40 so can you help me is there a way to reset it bcuz I've got pulled over twice and can't Stand it anymore

Have you changed your gears recently?

No I have no idea I got new rims and tires could that be it?

If you didn't change the height of the tires then it will not affect the speedo. If you have gauge overlays the needle might not have been put back on right. If so you can just pull it of and re install it.

I was In a wreck and I broke the tire of the Axel and they fixed the Axel and gave me new tires

WHat do you mean they fixed the axel? DId they replace it and if so what else was relaced? Are the rims and tires the same size as the old ones?

Rim are same tires are same but they replaced alot of stuff on the Axel and I was told it would throw my speedometer off

What? Just changing the axle won't change the speedo. Here are things that will,

a) different tire height overall
b) different gears (i.e going from 3.42 to 4.10).

So, what did they change? In any case, what's done is done, get thee to a local tuner and they can fix the speedo with tuning software.
