Default New to site PS issue please help

I just had the "PS Cooler Problem" leaked into coolant and PS fluid looks like overpriced Starbucks vomit. I live in south Texas and the temps get into the triple digits during summer should I worry about installing a fin-style PS cooler or just use loop the hoses and cap off the stock PS cooler? I've got a two-pass cooler I'm trying to install and about to give up on it

Houston here, I been running without my PS cooler for about a month and no problems. Others here say the same, unless your racing Auto-cross or something like that you'll be fine. I plan on installing an aftermarket cooler someday when I get time though just to preserve my PS pump.

Yes, you should be worried. It will cause issues for you over time - hot fluid is bad for the seals in the pump. Lots of good info, aftermarket options, and articles here: https://ls1tech.com/forums/general-m...g-success.html
