Default Brake Light on.

Guys I have a "BRAKE" light on.

Its not the ABS Inop light its the brake light.

I have good pad all the way around, I have plenty of brake fluid, ebrake works maybe its a little weak but its always been that way. Just came on brakes work just fine. I have NO IDEA.

Is it like an ABS light where there is a DTC you can pull?

Any suggestions?

Also I plan to make the ebrake tigher while Im messing with the system. How do you adjust the ebrake on the pre 98s when they had the actuated caliper and not the shoe in hat setup

Maybe the switch for the parking brake is stuck?

Light would only come on for 2 reasons, either you have a hydraulic pressure problem, or the E brake is on.

Sounds like the E brake switch as above since the rest of your systems seems o.k. Take the console off, clean the switch and give it a dab of dielectric grease.
