Default Throttle Cable issue. . .

Got a buddy with a '97 WS6, last night the little cylinder at the end of the throttle cable that attaches to the the throttle body popped off. Is there another way to fix this short of putting in a new cable?

That part is called a ferrule. You might be able to find one that will work, but many require special crimping tools.

You may be best off by buying a whole new throttle cable.
