My car was stolen. How do I prevent this from happening AGAIN?

GPS will help you find it but it seems to me having a fuel cutoff switch or kill switch hidden would be the easiset and least expensive route. Yes they will look for it but place a dummy switch in an easy to find place and they will not figure it out. Hope you get it running again.

He also showed me that he can shut down the ignition system any time he wanted to...so make sure I come back on time or call to extend with a credit card before the due date/time for return....lol...He also said he can watch me wherever I go the whole time. He showed me a couple other rentals that were driving around Miami........I wonder if thats legal.....
Funny ****......

Then you choose a service plan. Pay monthly, 6 months, yearly or a one time lifetime payment for service.
Its awesome. Check my post above about it or check out there site. I also posted a picture above on this page of my friend tracking it at the computer while the receiver was sitting next to his computer. It uses GPS, but anytime that signal gets low it immediately reverts to wireless cell towers for finding it anywhere, even inside buildings.

I did some research on the zoombak and apparently, they have not so good reviews and there customer service is not that great I was looking at the GPS tracker that Escort(the company that makes radar detectors) sells and it looks pretty good. Has your buddy had any complaints about the zoombak?

He has showed me how his Zoombak works....its fast and accurate as hell. Look at the picture in my post on page 4 in this thread. He went to the website, tracked his "GPS receiver" that was in his house...it popped up in 5 seconds and he snapped a picture to post here.
Its almost instant and it will track the receiver as it moves down the road. He got it for his $100,000 race boat for when its parked i nthe water behind his house.
From what I've seen...its a 100% perfect system for tracking. He gets an immediate text and email message that the receiver is on the move. What else can you ask for??? And if GPS signal is lost, it immediately reverts to cell phone tower triangulation.....its accurate as hell.
No way to lose your car.....no way.....As long as you get an alert that the car is on the move. Thats it, the police will have the car in 5 minutes.....
But I'm sure there are other nice systems, maybe even better ones. I just know about this one because its a friend that has it, and from what I've seen.....its exactly what I want.

I get the analogy but your WAY off on 'Open Cary' supporters! It's a demonstration to protect our 2nd Amendment rights. The rule is that the firearm can't be loaded and you need to stay off school grounds and government buildings. Point being, ALL the sidearms you saw, were unloaded. ... ALOT of folks like to use the "Wild West" comparison but that's just stupid. The demonstrations aren't meant to intimidate. They're meant to educate people in that it is still our right to do so if you choose. Local & National Media has convieniently found a way to vilanize 'Open Cary' supporters because they have decided to make it socially unacceptable over the years. ...

No, not that I've heard of, and if you can that type of equipment will be quite costly to go steal a friggin American made cheesy car like an F-Body.
But thats why Zoombak uses cell phone towers for triangulation as a back up that immediately kicks in if GPS signal is lost or interfered with....like if they pull into garage or bay......
But still it doesn't matter if they do that and both signals are lost......Zoombak keeps the actually track that the car took to that garage or bay......so the thieves are fucked either way.

You can buy gps and cell jammers online for a couple hundred bucks, but I don't have any personal experience with how effective they are. http://www.jammer-store.com/mobile-j...-blockers.html has several that block gps AND cell.

My friend has a cell jammer for his optical shop......he hates when rich ******* women come into his shop and ask for help then start talking on their cell phones while he stands there with his thumb up his ***. So he has a little remote control key chain thing, he pushes a button and bam...no cell phones in his shop.
BUT....its good for 10 meters and must be plugged into the wall....the station that sends out the blocker signal is about the size of a shoebox, maybe a little smaller with two 6 inch antennas.
It works like a charm every time.
The ones that use battery packs that a thief would have to use suck and are only good for 1 meter. And whatever the rated distance is...you have to cut that in half, they DO NOT work as advertised. Plus the battery packs need to be 12 volt or some crap. So it might not even block a GPS receiver thats in the trunk or under the hood or stuck to the back glass.
Then they'll need to bring a cell phone tower signal blocker also.......ain't gonna happen.
