it could be a number of things from needing to be charged to replacing worn out parts. Have your system inspected.

I'll be watching this thread as well. I've tried recharging by the way, but I wonder if the 'OP has tried that yet...

I'm in hot *** south Florida.........my A/C is so cold that if the vent is aimed toward my hand while I'm driving it will start to hurt my hand.

If your A/C is not blowing Antarctica cold with a normal, full charge of 134.....something is wrong with the system.

You can try going to a parts store and buying those refrigerant-in-a-can deals. Some of them come with a gauge that you're supposed to use to read the charge level of the system. Considering how specialized and expensive 'ac equipment is I have a hard time believing the parts store cans with gauges work, but it's worth a shot before taking it in somewhere. I tried it myself-the system wouldn't take anymore refrigerant, therefore I'm assuming there's a problem elsewhere. Give it a shot and let us know what happens...

try cleaning out the condenser with a water hose and a cleaner like orange glo or
simple green over time dirt buids up in the fins . did that on my 94 bird and it made
a big improvement with my ac.

As mentioned above.....these cars are going on 9-13 years old.

The condensors MUST be pulled out of the cars and either cleaned at a radiator shop or just replaced.

Doesn't matter how charged up your system is. Look at the pics of mine after being 6 years old. I would say 50% of the surface was blocked. I had to take it out and bang all that crap out, then clean the entire thing with degreaser. I would thing a radiator shop would clean it for you for $30.00, just a guess.
