loud ticking

loud ticking It is pretty much stock except now it has Ams TB. It started about 2 months ago a slight ticking noise. I thought it was normal since its an lt1. But then yesterday I hear a big pop when I started it and now the ticking is hell of loud and the car shakes. It feels like its miss firing and wants to die. Any ideas?

Hi,you can use the old reliable stethoscope........... To pinpoint area of noise.

ps: Pull valve covers and do a visual with engine running.
