Default car acting up during start up

I have read about every idle post i can find but I just want some input on my situation before i start swapping all these parts out. when I first start the car it dies then i start it again and it dies again it will only stay running if i keep tapping the gas. after a couple of minutes of holding the rpms at 1k it will idle fine like its suppose to and idk whats causing it to happen. here is a video clip of whats going on.

That could be as simple as a dirty MAF. Get a can of MAF cleaner and spray the **** out of it. Also lift the lid and spray the IAT sensor thats mounted in it.
If it starts up and idles normally AFTER its up to operating temp....I'd say MAF.

If it happens every start whether hot or cold...I'd say IAC valve.

It could also be a failing PCM.

And NO....you will not get codes or SES lights for any of these issues, it just depends on whats really happening. Our PCM's are good....but they also totally suck at helping us detect problems.

ok so i took the IAC valve out and sprayed it with MAF cleaner and sprayed it inside where it goes back in then I took a flashlight and looked inside there and there is a like something covered in carbon in the center of the whole looking into where the IAC valve goes back in. is this normal or is it suppose to be nothing there?
