Default Wont shift into 3rd

When I race at the track it will hit rev limiter after second and I have to let out for it to go into 3rd it's an automatic and I don't shift at all it never did these before I put my headers in.....

You might need a tune for the shift points. Mine did the same thing after putting in a 9.5" high stall converter and headers. Usually the solution is to raise the rev limiter slightly to around 6800-7000. The 4l60 has a problem at high rpm though if yours is stock and you might burn up your 3-4 clutch pack if you run it above 6000 rpm often. You need to put in a high rpm priming spring in the trans pump and next time you do a overhaul remember to add the high rate clutch return springs for the forward and 3-4 clutches.
