Default ZERO oil pressure?

So I drove to work today my car was fine. I start it up and about halfway home I noticed I had ZERO oil pressure in my car. The car ran perfectly smoove the rest of my drive home but still says zero pressure. What could be causing this?

So how far did you drive thinking the car has no oil pressure?

bad switch , dead gauge could be the easy reasons.

I wouldn't start/drive the car until you check on the dipstick.

Checked it when I got home. Completely normal oil level.

yeah you should be fine. I had some ice knock my pressure sending switch out of it's position and the gauge read past 120.

In your case it sounds like it sounds like a short in the electrical or gauge is dead itself.

Check the oil at cold before start in morning also.
Look for any leaks of oil under the car before you start as a precaution.
