Default Noise coming from driveshaft where it goes into tranny

Just like the title says. Had this noise start about 3 weeks ago after I stopped at an intersection and after I stopped the car slid a bit due to sand on the ground. Go to take off and start hearing a constant grind or rubbing noise. Put the car up on jacks and put the car in drive and the noise is coming from where the driveshaft goes into the transmittion. Any ideas what this could be. Car shifts fine and I sprayed the area down to are if maybe some dirt got in there but the sound is still there. Thanks.

Replace the u-joints........At 100k they likely are about worn out anyway IMO.
